For Immediate Release
Boulder, Colorado, and Hong Kong, May 24, 2010 - Adventures in Preservation (AiP) has launched a dynamic new website, www.adventuresinpreservation.org, to promote the non-profit’s hands-on volunteer vacations. The website provides detailed information on unique adventures that take you around the world to help restore buildings and renew communities.
AiP’s volunteer vacations are based on the premise that historic preservation is a powerful tool for change. Beyond detailing rewarding volunteer vacation opportunities, the new website also provides a variety of ways to support AiP’s community-initiated projects, such by becoming a corporate sponsor, donating in-kind goods and services, or sponsoring a volunteer.
The site also has a dedicated section for people working in the field of preservation, highlighting internship opportunities and ways for professionals in related fields to share their knowledge.
